Well here is a late update on her adventures....

For those of you who have no visited the site before, I am looking to swap this lovely bottle opener for something bigger and better.....BUT .... the condition of the swap is that you continue the avdentures and take it with you, give it your own character if you like but it must keep being swapped!! :-)

During September Red Back went over the pond to Boston and New York, she sampled the High life on the top of the Empire State Building seeing the sights of America...

Having been shopping in Soho, eating out in Little Italy, visiting the New York Fashion week.... before Victoria Beckham got there that is.........

It was nice to meet some people, she met a french lady who liked her very much....she was looking for something to swap her with but unfortunatly didn't have aything to hand.....

Red Backs Day Out....

Well today, Red Back has had an interesting day........She went to the hairdressers...........what?.. How? I hear you say,, well I took her ..........................

She was sat waiting for me to have my foils done.........obviously getting bored, and she wasn't allowed the wine as she was driving...........

The very nice hairdressers called Amanda who is an amazing colourist at Toni & Guy, offered to try some extensions on her so of course, whats a girl to do but accept...............
MMMM decisions decisions, red or black?

Well seeing as though she has a Red Back......................

Of course she was advised to go with black hair for that dramatic, sexy look, wanting to keep the new look, we both left very happy with our new hair do's and will be returning again for sure!

So the story continues.......I am however just like the origional idea looking to swap her for something bigger and better, so if anyone would like to own a shiny red backed bottle opener and carry on her/his story please get in touch with a thought of what you would like to trade..................07814012606

Well here is the begging of a new journey, for the first item, I (Sarah Walmsley) traded for some of my glass. I shall explain, August 2006, I recieved an e-mail mentioning a trade which had taken place in the far off land of Greece!

Andrew Henderson had traded NOTHING for a bottle opener (now to be known as RED BACK)! He traded it with a store keeper Spiros on August the 15th 2006, then he traded it with me for not 1 but 2 pieces of my glass www.cool-liquid.co.uk and I hear you say.......Its the start of a journey (for Red-back).

She (its female in this case, for while I have possesion of her anyway) was traded in Greece then had a relaxing time on the beach, in the bar, (take a look at www.tradingnothing.com ), the idea was for Andrew to see what he could build upto by keep swapping whatever he previously swapped for something bigger and better everytime.

I thought this idea was great and was interested as to where it may go........I offered to swap 1 large or 2small peieces of glass for the redbacked bottle opener. He agreed and we made an arrangement to meet to meet in Preston City Centre, Lancashire.,England.. we met and I allowed him to choose two pieces form a collection of 6 very individual pieces...........

I really liked the fact that he had given the bottle opener a little life story, going to the beach, etc......so I (in my wisdom) decided to continue this and take her on a journey in the life of Sarah Walmsley. (whether she liked it or not), I like the idea of swapping it with someone else and then they can take it over and give it a new lease of life........

So here goes, I decided to take Red Back to my other job with me last week, obviously she was rather bored just staring at the pc as you can see from the pic, she then decided to peer out the window............
